Chicken in Garlic Sauce is another new dish that I just learned today or this week. I love chicken breasts and I guess a lot of other people love chicken breasts, because it's light and healthy. For those looking after their weight or on diets chicken breasts is good way to go I guess and a long with vegetables I'd say it's a light dish tonight. I'm not so sure what vitamins are in chicken breasts but a lot of athletes and people who want to look good and include celebrities eat chicken breasts as their source of meat. Also chicken breasts is versatile you use is just about any dish you want.
Chicken in Garlic Sauce Ingredients:
3 to 4 pcs chicken breasts sliced into 1/2 bite size pieces
3 carrots cut diagonally
1 crown of broccoli use florets
4 cloves of garlic minced
onion sliced
1 green onion chopped optional mushrooms,
for sauce:
1/2 cups chicken stock
4T oyster sauce
2T soy sauce
drop of hot sauce
slurry
Chicken in Garlic Sauce Step by Step Cooking Procedure:
Step 1: Prepare chicken cut chicken breasts into 1/2 inch bite size pieces then put into a container then season with garlic salt if no garlic salt can use garlic powder, then pepper set aside.
Step 2: Prepare vegetables cut carrots into diagonal shapes, and broccoli cut of florets and blanch in hot boiling water for 1-2 min then drain set aside.
Step 3: Prepare Wok or big skillet and prepare hot oil when oil is hot cook chicken, cook chicken until brown this should take 6-8 min when chicken is cooked set aside.
Step 4: Wipe of excess oil then heat pan again add a little more oil saute garlic, and onions saute until fragrant then add the green onions and mushrooms.
Step 5: Add the blanched carrots and broccoli and stir fry for a minute
Step 6: Add chicken and stir fry again after a few minutes add sauce let boil.
Step 7: When sauce comes to a boil add slurry and stir and simmer for few minutes then serve.
